Alicia,
That is a really fun idea. I have course progress bars on my list of future developments but the option of using an icon to represent it isn't something that I had yet considered. Thank you for taking the time to share this idea, I will add it to the list.

The module progress/navigation is a great feature that illustrates to students where they are in a particular module and what have they accomplished. I would like an additional option that focused on the progress at the course level - so showing just the modules rather than the individual content within the module. We have a program that currently does this with a graphic but wants another option. I have created a rough draft below:
