The standard implementation and training package that is purchased with DesignPLUS includes installation as well as training designed to ensure your institution can use the tools to their maximum potential. Below is an overview of the various DesignPLUS implementation and training activities included in the standard package:
DesignPLUS Installation (60 min)
Who Attends: Canvas Administrator
A video call with a member of our technical team who will provide an installation tool that your Canvas admin will use to walk through the installation process with our guidance.
DesignPLUS Sidebar Training (90 min)
Who attends: Instructional Designers and other Power Users (Canvas Admins/Trainers)
This training provides an introduction to the DesignPLUS Sidebar. We will cover:
- Sidebar Introduction/Tour
- Designing a Basic Page
- Designing a Home Page
- Styling Existing Content
- Accessibility Checkers & Usability Tools
- Template Usage
- Additional Elements and Tools
- Resources for Learning & Support
👩🏫 Live train-the-trainer sessions are offered on a regular and pre-scheduled basis. Participants can sign up for sessions offered at times that work best for them. Live training sessions are delivered via Zoom.

Access to these training resources will be provided during onboarding.
DesignPLUS Customizations Training (90 min)
Who attends: DesignPLUS Admins and Lead Instructional Designers
This session is for anyone who is or will be enrolled in the DesignPLUS customizations course(s) at the root (and possibly sub-account) level(s).
This training will focus on how to build out and customize DesignPLUS for your institution or sub-account. This includes:
