How do I reauthorize the Cidiscape Task Runner?

Act as the Task Runner in both Canvas and Cidiscape before selecting the Launch Authorization button.

At times, the task runner's connection to Canvas gets interrupted and needs to be reestablished. The basic process for reauthorizing the task runner is as follows:
  1. In Cidiscape, visit the Task Runners tab. Take note of the name and Canvas ID for any task runners that need to be reauthorized.
  2. Log out of Cidiscape.
  3. In Canvas, locate the task runner user in the People tab and act as the user.
  4. Log back into Cidiscape as the task runner.
  5. Return to the Task Runners tab and select the Launch Authorization button to reauthorize the task runner.
  6. Log back out of Cidiscape, and stop acting as the task runner user in Canvas.
