Are DesignPLUS and its built-in templates accessible?

Yes! You can read the DesignPLUS VPAT for details on the accessibility of the product. DesignPLUS templates are also designed to meet accessibility standards.

Are the tools accessible?

Yes, the entire suite of DesignPLUS tools is accessible. The DesignPLUS Sidebar, QuickStart Wizard, Multi-Tool, and Upload/Embed Image tool follow WCAG 2.1/2.2 guidelines. For more details about what this means, you may read the DesignPLUS VPAT attached here.

What about built-in template content?

Institutions can choose to include Cidi Labs templates in the QuickStart Wizard and the Sidebar. We continually review all of the content we make available to make sure it meets accessibility standards. However, users are responsible for following accessible design practices when using these templates. To ensure that you have used Cidi Labs pre-built content in an accessible way, we recommend using the Accessibility Checkers built into the Sidebar to review the content before publishing.
