Is "Kennethware" the same as Design Tools for Canvas?

The short answer is yes, though a lot has changed with the product since it was last commonly known as "Kennethware" (see this comparison for details). Kennethware was the informal name given by the community to early open source versions of Design Tools. The name was given in honor of Kenneth Larsen, the lead creator of the tools. With the release of version 3 of the tools and the creation of Cidi Labs to SaaS deliver and support it, Utah State decided to formally name the product "Design Tools for Canvas."
