The sidebar doesn't display properly for new announcements or discussions.

Note: This article is relevant to the legacy DesignPLUS Sidebar installed before July 2023. If your institution installed or updated the DesignPLUS Sidebar after July 2023, please check the New Sidebar Guides and the New Sidebar FAQ.

For now, when this issue occurs, you can:

Refresh the page; the sidebar loads correctly roughly 1 in 4 times.
Click Save and then click Edit and the sidebar will load correctly. When you do this, please note:
- For announcements, be sure to select the Delay Posting option so it doesn't immediately go out to students
- For discussions, do not click Save & Publish so it doesn't appear for students.
