What does "An Error has Occurred" mean while trying to access ObservEd?

If you get this error message, you likely have not been enrolled in the ObservEd course. To fix this, a Canvas admin may need to add you to the course and sync the ObservEd Users to grant you access.

An Error has Occurred message while trying to access ObservEd.First, confirm that you have been added to the People panel of the Canvas Course as a teacher or a student. If you are unsure, check with an ObservEd admin, as they can add you to the Canvas course.

Second, the ObservEd admin may need to sync the Users in ObservEd. For instructions on how to sync users, see the ObservEd Admin Guide: Users > Sync Users.

Once your user has been added, the ObservEd admin may need to adjust your access or add you to an Observer Team. For more information on Observer Teams, see the ObservEd Admin Guide: Observer Teams > Edit Team Members.

Lastly, if each of these steps have been taken, make sure you are logged into Canvas and logged in as the correct user, if you have multiple Canvas logins.
