Users will receive a warning that they will need to utilize our Upgrade tool to upgrade the Legacy content, before making any changes with the new Sidebar. This process is quick and easy!
When a user has enabled the New Sidebar, and edits any Canvas item that contains Legacy DesignPLUS content, they will receive the following notification in the Sidebar's footer:
[Number] legacy elements were found on the page. You must upgrade these elements before you can edit them with the new sidebar.
This notification includes a link shortcut to take the user directly to our Upgrade tool. It is important to upgrade content before making any changes with the new Sidebar, to avoid potential errors and issues.
