YES! They are announced as Flip Cards to screen reader users. Upon flipping, it will announce whether the front or back of the card is displayed. Cards can be flipped with keyboard focus using the space bar or return/enter keys.
As with all DesignPLUS tools, we have taken great consideration to ensure they are accessible for all users.
The Screen Reader Experience
For those using a screen reader, Flip Cards function very similar to buttons, and will be announced as Flip Cards.
Users can tab to each Flip Card with keyboard focus, and press either the space bar or their return/enter key to flip the card.
When the user flips the card, the screen reader will announce that the back side of the card is displayed, and if the user flips the card again, the screen reader will state that the front side of the card is visible.
