Are teachers notified when UDOIT or TidyUP scans are run through Cidiscape?

Teachers are not notified, but the scan dates and results will be visible inside the UDOIT and TidyUP tools in their courses.

If your institution licenses UDOIT and TidyUP, you have the option to run bulk scans with these tools through Cidiscape. These bulk scans are performed within each individual course itself.

This means that, while the course's teachers and designers will not receive any notification of these scans, the scans will be logged in UDOIT and TidyUP at the course level. 

In UDOIT, teachers can view scan history by selecting Course Activity from the additional items menu (three dots) in the upper right.

In TidyUP, the scan will be logged in the Activity area, and the results will be visible in Scan History.
