Can I add custom icons?
While DesignPLUS does not offer custom icons, you can curate our existing icons into your own custom categories, as well as create Snippets with images of your icons for users to easily drop into content.
Adding icons at the institution level is not something you can currently do with DesignPLUS.
In order for icons to work with the DesignPlUS styling, they need to be part of an icon font. We currently pull in icons from Font Awesome and Canvas. If there is another icon font you'd like us to consider, please send us a link.
Curate Icons into Custom Categories
The [Icons] Customizations page allows you to curate groups of icons into custom categories. At the Primary, Extended, or Shared Customization course levels, these could be icons you wish to highlight for many users. And, in a course-level customization page, you might curate a category of the icons you find yourself using frequently for that course, or those you wish the designers of the course to utilize.

Utilize HTML Snippets
If you have a set of images or icons that you would like to make available to your users, you can create those as HTML Snippets in your Customizations, and users can access them through the Snippets tool in the Sidebar.
