TidyUP will timeout if the amount of course files and course content is too large
Although rarely reported to Cidi Labs, users have encountered a timeout error with TidyUP that happens when the tool scans a course and there are too many files and pages to process. The threshold limit of files and content has not been identified specifically.
If you encounter a timeout error while using TidyUP, you can try manually cleaning up the course files and content first, and then run the TidyUP scan again.
You can also try scanning specific file types to see if the scan completes. To scan custom file types in TidyUP:
-
Open TidyUP
-
Select Custom File Types to Include
-
Choose a single file type
-
Select Scan Course
You should also report the error to support@cidilabs.com so we can better understand the issue.
