How is the new (2020) Upload/Embed Image Tool different and how can we update?

A new version of the DesignPlus Upload/Embed Image Tool (UEI) was made available in fall of 2020. This upgrade is included with your DesignPlus subscription, so there is no additional cost.

An institution's Canvas Admin will need to complete the steps included in our New Upload/Embed Image Guide.

The updated version includes:

• Integration with Pexels.com

• Integration with Unsplash.com

• Integration with Canvas user and course files

• Better integration with the new Canvas RCE

• Ability to save as a course image

• Drag and drop file selection

• Set image alternative text before uploading
