Something broke our theme and after reapplying custom JS or CSS. Why does the sidebar not open for users in this account?

If a change is made to the root account theme, some sub-accounts may no longer be using the current JavaScript and CSS in the Canvas Theme. This can be fixed by reapplying the desired theme.

This is a Canvas issue. The workaround is to re-upload your CSS file in your Themes.

  1. In the root or sub-account where the issue occurs, select Themes in the Global Navigation.

  2. Hover over the Current Theme.

  3. Select the Upload tab in the upper left.

  4. Select View File next to CSS file.

  5. Ensure it has DesignPLUS code.

  6. Right-click and select Save As to save the file to your computer.

  7. Next to the CSS file, select Select.
  8. Reupload the saved file to the CSS.

  9. Select Preview Your Changes.
  10. Select Save theme.

  11. Select Apply theme.
