List of eligible content editors that will load the DesignPLUS Sidebar
The DesignPLUS Sidebar (RCE tools) work with the following:
- Pages
- Assignments
- Course announcements
- Course syllabus
- The description portion of discussions (including discussion redesign)
- The description portion of classic quizzes
They do not work with:
- Events
- Account-level announcements
- Portfolios
- Quiz questions
- Discussion responses
- New Quizzes
- Assignment submissions
- Canvas Catalog listings
A general rule of thumb is if there are multiple RCE boxes on a page, the rich content editor tools will not work. When there are multiple versions of the rich content editor on a page, it is difficult for the tools to keep track of the editor in which a user is currently typing.
